Where and when is the wedding?
We're tying the knot on Saturday, June 5, 2027! The ceremony and reception will take place at Heavenly View, 260 Heavenly View, Leitchfield, Kentucky. We can't wait to celebrate our special day with you!
Why did we choose Leitchfield and Heavenly View for your wedding?
Leitchfield will always hold a special place in our hearts because it's where Jason asked me to spend forever with him. It only seemed fitting to return to the place where our next chapter began to officially start our happily ever after. We also fell in love with the name "Heavenly View". To us, it represents more than just a beautiful venue. It's a sweet reminder of the loved ones who are no longer here with us, but who we know will be watching from Heaven as we say "I do." While there will be a few special people missing from our celebration, we find comfort in knowing they'll have the most beautiful view of all.
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:15 PM Central Standard Time. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early to find your seat and get settled. Wondering why we're starting at a quarter past the hour? There's a little meaning behind that! The groom drag races on a quarter-mile strip, so we thought it was only fitting to start our forever on the quarter hour! After all, there's no better race than the one to Happily Ever Haley!
What is the dress code?
Our dress code is dressy casual, and we'd love for our guests to join in on our wedding color palette!
We encourage you to wear shades of black, gray, silver, champagne, gold, beige, blush, or dusty rose to complement our modern, moody boho celebration.
Think dresses, jumpsuits, dress pants, nice jeans with a dressy top, or button-down shirts. Cowboy boots are welcome too!
We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white or ivory, as those colors are reserved for the bride.
Most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable, look fabulous, and be ready to celebrate with us!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor, air-conditioned reception, both at the venue. Since we're getting married in June, we recommend dressing comfortably for the outdoor ceremony. Don't worry, though! Once we've said "I do," we'll head inside to cool off, enjoy some delicious food and drinks, and dance the night away! We can't wait to celebrate with you, rain or shine!
Can we bring our children?
Although we love your little ones, we've chosen to have an adults-only event. We hope you'll take this opportunity to enjoy a date night, let loose, and celebrate with us! Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation. If a plus-one has been included, it will be indicated on your invitation or RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
When do I need to RSVP?
Please RSVP by April 1, 2027 through our wedding website. We kindly ask that you respond by the deadline so we can make sure everything is ready for our big day!
Will food and drinks be provided?
Of course! We'll have plenty of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy. Come hungry and ready to celebrate!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! Drinks are on Mavrick! Our mini Aussiedoodle, Mavrick, has graciously offered to pick up the bar tab for the evening. We're not entirely sure where he's been hiding all the money, but we're certainly not asking questions! Enjoy a drink (or two) on our favorite four-legged family member, and please celebrate responsibly!
Will Mavrick be attending the wedding?
Unfortunately, our very generous bar sponsor has a prior engagement! While we're busy saying "I do," Mavrick will be enjoying a little getaway at Crate Escape, celebrating with his favorite pup buddies! He sends his love, regrets that he cannot attend, and kindly asks that you enjoy a drink on him! Don't worry though, he'll be expecting plenty of attention when we return!
Will there be dancing?
Absolutely! We've got a dance floor waiting for you! Once the formalities are over, it's time to let loose, make memories, and dance the night away! Don't forget your dancing shoes!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We're having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain put away while we exchange our vows. We want you to be fully present with us, and our photographer will be there to capture all those memories. Once the ceremony is over, snap away! We would love to see the day through your eyes!
Can I share pictures on social media?
Absolutely! We encourage you to take lots of pictures throughout the reception and share your favorite memories! Don't forget to tag your photos with our wedding hashtag #HappilyEverHaley so we can look back at all the special moments captured by our favorite people! Let's fill our feeds with love, laughter, and a little disco magic!
